Restoration Crew USA is an independent referral network built on a single premise: when water is destroying your home, you need a certified expert on-site immediately — not a voicemail, not a callback, not a next-business-day appointment.
Restoration Crew USA is an independent referral network — not a restoration contractor. We do not carry equipment, employ technicians, or perform restoration work directly. What we do is maintain a curated network of IICRC-certified water damage restoration specialists across 15 states, and connect homeowners facing emergencies to the right specialist immediately. We are the call you make at 2 a.m. when your basement is filling with water and you need a real, credentialed expert on-site within the hour — not a search engine results page.
The problem we exist to solve is simple but significant. When water damage happens — and in our service territory, it happens constantly — homeowners have no reliable, fast way to reach a vetted specialist. They search online and find dozens of companies with no way to assess quality. They call numbers and get voicemails. They find storm chasers who show up without proper credentials or insurance and disappear after a large check clears. The gap between "homeowner in crisis" and "certified specialist with the right equipment" is what Restoration Crew USA was built to close.
Every specialist in our network is independently licensed in their state, carries general liability insurance and active workers' compensation coverage, and maintains current IICRC certification — at minimum the Water Restoration Technician (WRT) credential, with many holding Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS) designations as well. We verify credentials at the time of network onboarding and conduct periodic re-verification. Certifications are checked against the IICRC's public verification database. License numbers are confirmed with the relevant state contractor licensing board. A specialist who cannot produce current documentation does not participate in our network.
We built this network around the geographic realities of our service territory, because water damage risk is not uniform. The Gulf Coast states — Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida — contend with hurricane storm surge and tropical rainfall events that can dump a foot of rain in 24 hours. Tennessee and Kentucky experience some of the most severe inland flash flooding in the country. The Mid-Atlantic states of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, and New Jersey face nor'easters that bring sustained heavy rain and coastal surge. New England — Connecticut in particular — deals with freeze-thaw pipe failure cycles every winter. Our network was built around these regional realities, not assembled as a generic national directory.
When something goes wrong with a referral, we want to know. A contractor who cannot be reached, who arrives without proper equipment, who performs substandard work, or who generates legitimate complaints from homeowners is removed from our network. We hold our specialists accountable because our value to homeowners depends entirely on the quality of who we send. Every complaint is investigated. Standards are not negotiable.
Every specialist connected through Restoration Crew USA must meet and maintain all of the following requirements.
WRT (Water Restoration Technician) or equivalent for all on-site technicians. Verified directly at iicrc.org. No current certification, no network participation. Advanced credentials (ASD, MRS) are noted and matched to appropriate job types.
Valid contractor license in each state where the specialist operates. We verify license numbers directly with state licensing boards and check for any active complaints, suspensions, or revocations on record.
Minimum $1 million per occurrence general liability coverage. Certificate of insurance is required, reviewed at onboarding, and re-verified annually. Expired or inadequate coverage results in immediate suspension from the network.
Active workers' compensation coverage for all employees. This protects homeowners from liability exposure if a technician is injured on their property. Coverage must be current and documented.
Emergency response availability is a condition of network participation — not optional. Specialists who limit availability to business hours or require advance scheduling are not a fit for this network. Water damage does not follow a schedule.
Daily psychrometric logs, moisture mapping reports, and Xactimate-format estimates for insurance coordination. Proper documentation protects homeowners during the claims process and demonstrates that work was performed to professional standards.

We are a referral network — we connect homeowners with restoration specialists. We are not a licensed restoration contractor and we do not perform restoration services directly. The specialists you are connected with through Restoration Crew USA are independent businesses, licensed and insured in their own right. We hold them to standards, but your service contract is with the specialist, not with Restoration Crew USA.
This transparency is intentional. We believe the homeowners who need this service most are the ones who deserve the clearest picture of who they are dealing with.
